OUR ADVISORY TEAM

Jim Anderson is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills, Texas and is a former home missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention's Home Mission Board.  In the early to mid-90's, Jim led a church plant here in Memphis using the cell church concepts espoused by Dr. Ralph Neighbour.  It was through our involvement with that work that we became acquainted with Simple Church concepts.  Little did we know that 10 years later God would bring us back to Memphis with a renewed vision to continue down that road.  We are honored to have Bro. Jim as one of our advisors as we consider our vision an extension of the one he cast over a decade ago.

Mark Blessing is a missionary serving in Ukraine where he pastors Living Word Church of Lviv.  He and his family are sent out from First Baptist Church in Houston, Texas as well as B'rit Hadasha Congregation of Memphis.  Mark's family has turned their home into a center for ministry called Bethel House, and has a deep appreciation for the Jewish roots of the Christian faith.  His story is one of great faith that is an inspiration to us in our own journey.  You can learn more about him at the Blessing Ministry website.

Mike Morgan is the Equipping Team Leader at Bykota Ministries in Carthage, Missouri.  Bykota Ministries is a member of Church of the Nations International, an association of churches around the world that we have begun connecting with.  Mike is a tremendous encourager to us in our journey, and we appreciate his friendship.

In addition to the Advisory Team, we have been in a Friendship Phase with an association called Church of the Nations, International.  Please pray for us as we seek the Lord about joining with them formally in the future once we constitute and have elders in place.
